I've had a callaway upro for the past two years & was prepared for a change. I wanted a range finder in lieu of gps to get more correct distances. I also wanted something faster than the upro, it appeared like I spent lots of time messing around with the upro to get what I needed on the work. But, I didn't require to give up the ability to get distances on blind shots & layup distance on long par 5's. I am glad I found the bushnell hybrid. I have played a couple rounds with it so far & love it. The range finder, which I use 90% of the time, is rapid to get yardages & simple to find the flag from 200 in. The GPS is sparse, but has everything I require, back front middle & some other elements on positive holes, like a creek. You can also add your own items on courses you play a lot. The gps is responsive & it moves from hole to hole by itself. The battery on the upro was aweful, sometimes not even making it through the round. While I haven't fully tested the battery on the bushnell, I ought to be able to basically get rounds, which is ideal.
